🟢Effective at 4pm 6.25.26: SERVICE TO RESUME: M/V Pointe a la Hache between Belle Chasse and Scarsdale will resume normal operations.

🔴 EMERGENCY CLOSURE

Effective 11:00 a.m. on June 17, 2026, the Pointe à la Hache and Port Sulphur ferry landings will be closed until further notice per the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD).

The closure is necessary to address safety concerns identified during recent inspections of the ferry landing infrastructure.
